There are three main digital audio players:
· CD-MP3 players. Devices that play CDs. Often, it can be used to play audio CDs and homemade data CDs containing MP3 or other digital audio files.
· flash-based players. Are devices that store digital audio files on internal or external memory such as memory cards. Are devices with little storage capacity, typically range from 128MB - 4GB, which can often be extended with additional memory.
- hard drive based players. Devices that read digital audio files from a hard disk. These players have larger storage capacities from 1.5 GB to 100GB, depending on hard disk technology. Examples appear on the Apple iPod, Creative Zen and Commodore EVIC.
The MP3 stands for MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 (acronym), but is heard as emepetrés. Format is a lossy compressed digital audio developed by the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) to form part of Release 1 (later upgraded to version 2).
Audio Coding
audio decoding
MP3 file has a standard format which is a plot that is at 385, 576 or 1152 samples (depends on MPEG version and the envelope). Each data frame has 32-bit audio and ancillary data that, depending on MPEG version and stereo mono, are 9, 7 or 32 bits.
HOW TO BUILD AN MP3 PLAYER
Material:
Circuit Table
have a small point or notch on the end where the pin 1. In the diagram where the parties are located, all orientations are noted. crystals, resistors, capacitors small (.1 uF and 22pF) and the slide switch are not polarized, so they can be in any direction. The crystal with the ink mark is the 24,576 MHz
with components normally long terminal heats and melts the solder while it is hot.
For the headset connector is where the tins are welded first.
have to emphasize the position of the notch when welding the component to protect the PIC controller, and that the notch will determine the order of the pins.
The diode symbol is a triangle with a line through one end. That line marks the cathode of the diode. sure to put the diode in the right direction before soldering.
The length of the distance to the terminals of the capacitor .01 uf is too wide (in the kit) so they are difficult to weld in where they belong within the circuit.
That's easy to fix. Using tongs straighten support terminals, but not try to move close to the capacitor.
Once done, the capacitors are soldered. When soldering the capacitors can be seen that the labels for c11 and c12 are barely visible through the decoder chip soldered terminals.
To install the voltage regulator are separated a little a bit and terminals are inserted. The flat side must match the one printed on the board.
This requires 10uF capacitor terminals are bent. sure to bend the terminals, they must be in the right direction to match the circuit as shown in illustration below (and also check where it belongs polarization).
Remember that LEDs are polarized, the shorter terminal represents the cathode, so to put it, to the cathode where the flat is marked, as shown in the illustration above. This notation does not appear in the instructions, so I will not be forgotten.
When you install the PIC chip, the distance between terminals is very wide in comparison to those at the other side. So there to put them carefully in the circuit starting with those at one end. The idea is to fold them all very carefully until the chip is seated on the circuit.
You Daisy player applies a voltage to 5V power supply for PC. On the other hand, connected to a battery prevents excessive noise in sound output.
For this player, you use an SD / MMC, a miniSD or microSD card in a SD adapter. card is formatted with a FAT 2 external card reader, files are downloaded MP3 and Daisy goes on to insert the card and listen to downloaded music.
Daisy player Advantages:
- It could change the power supply.
- has lots of space in the memory thanks to the PIC chip.
- sounds great decoder chip (the answers given by the decoder is as if the signal has not been modified).
- can be controlled.
- is adaptable to any situation.
Daisy player Disadvantages:
- You need a PC and a card reader to format your card to FAT32.
- can not use USB to download information.
- The jumpers are cheap but are difficult to find.
- No display on the player, it shows what song you're listening.
SOME OF THE MOST MP3 PLAYERS PRESENT:
i.Beat Organix. Plays in MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG and ASF. has an integrated FM tuner. has 2 GB and runs for 25 hours. The features include digital clock with alarm and voice recorder. Compatible with Windows and Mac
i.Beat DM Vision. You can play MP3, WMA, OGG, and WMA-ORM9 TOM and TOM video format and JPEG images. has a capacity of 2 GB and its battery is recharged within 2 hours.
I. Beat Drive 2.0. is for MP3, WMA and WAV. Runs on AAA battery can be connected to computer with USB and is compatible with Windows and MAC.
WMT28. For MP3 and WMA. works as storage, USB, reading and writing to SD cards. Compatible with all Windows versions.
MP322. can listen MP3 and WMA formats. has FM radio and voice recorder. functions as a mass storage unit and as reader / writer for SD cards, which help extend the device's memory. Compatible with Windows SE, ME, 2000 and XP.
MP320. can listen MP3 and WMA formats. has voice recorder, reader / writer for SD cards, flash memory 256, 512 MB and 1 GB, and USB connection. Compatible with Windows SE, ME, 2000 and XP.
As you read above, that players have almost identical functions, same memory, formats and are compatible with almost the same as Windows systems. These players are the most current on the market. addition to fulfilling its primary function is to reproduce music, also perform other functions such as voice recording, radio, digital clock and even play videos and images, making it come closer to the MP4.
